Hmmm…does anyone remember the “Moving Middletown Forward Committee”???

One of the items on their flyer was:

“Other goals

*Consider ballot issue which would change the makeup of City Council, For example: Four wards and mayor, eliminating at large seats, would make a more manageable and responsive council.”
Hmmm…Four AT-LARGE and a mayor would be even MORE “manageable”!!! They could all live in the very same neighborhood and meet several times a week for tea and crumpets, or Champaign and caviar!!!

So, the "4 at-large" goes to council; council says: "We gotta look out for the folks!  Eliminate the at-large and keep the 4 ward seats!"; incumbents campaign on how they "saved the wards!" Great "mis-direction" play!  Zun Tsu would be proud!!!

Would this political aspirant be male or female? 2. Would this political aspirant previously have served on the City Council in recent years? 3.
