School Is In

    All of the surrounding schools were closed today.  Except Middletown.  I will be the first to say there have been days in the past that I felt that school should have been in session when it was called off.  But not this morning.   The worse part was when my daughter came home today and informed me that in several of her classes they did nothing as the majority of her class was absent.  So was it really worth saving a calamity day when the students did not really have class?  Or should we have taken a day, with the possibility of making the day up when more students could have participated?
