Late last week Butler County was approved for a HUD grant of $1.9 million to make public buildings more energy efficient. Did the City of Middletown apply for these funds as well? Maybe not, because bicycle paths, alley re-paving, etc. are its' top priorities? |

Like Pacman said, the money they got a few months ago was the energy stimulus money and they spent it on the "path". Surely they will not get more and does city hall believe that money is just "free" ? Printed just for Middeltown,no taxes paid by anyone. Spend as you please.

Yep we wasted our Energy Saving Grant on a bike path...however it is nice to know that Butler County will use their's grant money for the purpose it was intended.
