City Council when you get around to discussing the Merits of, or the way I look at it the lack of Merits for the City overall, of Section 8 Council and Mayor Mulligan please remember this quote from USA Today.
"Middletown Mayor Larry Mulligan Jr. says the city considered whether more pollution would harm students. "It does have an adverse impact, but government has to go with the greatest benefit to the most people," he says."
When you decided to disregard the City Manager's and your consultant's recommendation to move the Section 8 program to Butler County, you were not acting in the best interest of the greatest number of residents in Middletown. You forget about 47000 residents.

Good info Pacman. I always hate it when Lawrence Mulligan The Third receives bad press. We brought him to Council based on his financial background, so, perhaps, the statements he made on behalf of Section 8 were "out of his element". He needs to stick with what he knows best and has demonstrated- finances. You can see his logic- 3000 benefitting at taxpayer expense will help the remaining 47,000 and that the move will have an adverse impact. He just needs to define HOW it will help and how an adverse impact will help the city, to clarify his position.
