"Authorized city administrators to enter into a $55,000 contract over three years with Galls Inc. of Lexington, Ky., to buy police uniforms. “The city is moving to a more updated, more approachable uniform,"
A "more approachable uniform"? By the way, what would be the criteria to determine the latest uniform style as to assessing whether a uniform should be updated? Interesting choice of words to spend more of the people's money. No doubt high on the priority list as to what this city needs. More city building bumping of the gums. "The audio-visual equipment in city council chambers has really exceeded its normal lifespan,” City Manager Doug Adkins said earlier this month. “The picture’s getting fuzzy and we’re not looking real good on TV these days.”" Got news for you Adkins. You and your buddies haven't looked good, on or off TV for years for more reasons than the video aspect. Is there any surplus audio/video equipment when they shut down TV Middletown? |

I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.
