Kudos to Lewis and company for another successful Monster Bash, and another successful Broad Street Bash season!!!
Burgers, beer, and Rock 'n' Roll consistently bring THOUSANDS to "their downtown" even on Wednesday evenings.
Wine and cheese and arts and chamber music seldom draw more than a hundred or two...even on weekend nights.
What can't City Hall get through their thick skulls???
How many more tens of millions of our taxpayers' dollars will they flush down the combined sewer system before they "get it"??? How many more DECADES of time will it take trying the same old thing over and over???
If I'm wrong, why won't someone please clearly explain how???

I heard Mid Fest at MUM was an utter failure this year.
Wonder what their plan will be for next year? |

Time out!
Firstly, congrats to Lewis and Co for the events, far > success than the arts nonsense. Get real. This isn't about Middletown downtown being a destination. Its about having control of downtown to avoid flea markets and cheap acquisition having a negative impact on an area called Main Street, a legend in the minds of K, M, B, and others. That's it, nothing more, nothing less. Just like ObamaCare. Never about health care----about Democratic power and getting voters getting nothing (voucher saying you have healthcare when you pay 5,000 deductible. Same with city hall. Not about education, not about a "destination", comical right? Its about a few controlling the landscape ecosystem downtown, and bankrupting the city. Fake outrage. Get it? "Their" town is controlling the 'ecosystem'...that's it Pretty simple. And in turn, the city leaders get the nice raises for letting council dip into the cookie jar, and drain rainy day fund. Come on, you are in quicksand, and cannot get out. No vision here, except keeping flea markets, Gold buyers, and 'jot em' down stores from expanding further into their 'street' called Main. You actually thought it would change after 50 years? Let me sell you a bridge over a 200 ft river in Death Valley, cheap, honestly.
