City’s 7 new hires include assistant prosecutorBy News Staff MIDDLETOWN — Seven people were hired at last week’s City Council meeting, including a new assistant city prosecutor.
Council approved the conditional appointments of Michael Yeazel, Deborah Davis and Pamela Carpenter as part-time bus drivers at $13.66 per hour; and the conditional appointment of Robert Thomas as a part-time bus cleaner at $10.89 per hour. The part-time employees will work 20 hours a week. The remaining hires were for full-time positions: Barbara Holbrook was hired as a police records clerk with an annual salary of $34,705; Tina Blevins was hired as a senior accountant clerk with an annual salary of $29,842; and Susan Cohen was hired as the assistant prosecutor with an annual salary of $51,822. |
