The following is copied and pasted directly from the minutes
of the minutes of the November 16, 2010 City Council meeting discussion
regarding the legislation authorizing the purchase of buildings for the
Cincinnati State project:
The following is copied and pasted directly from the January
21, 2012 article in The Middletown
Journal:
Of course we all know that the legislation passed and the
purchase of the buildings occurred. So…which is it, Mayor Mulligan??? Did we buy these buildings fourteen months ago because the
Cincinnati State project was “moving fast and furiously” and required “commitment”??? Or were they bought so that you and your
friends could “control the future
destiny” of some areas that YOU think are important to you
and your friends??? So, does Middletown have its own “Fast and Furious”
scandal??? (Thankfully, the only persons
in danger of getting “killed” in this “Fast and Furious” scandal are the taxpayers of Middletown,
and who cares about them?? They can pack their bags and leave if they don’t like
it—right, Mayor???) Gee whiz, Mayor, the citizens of Middletown are due an explanation of these
contradictory statements. |

George W. Bush said the United Stated invaded Iraq because weapons of mass destruction were too dangerous. When there were found no weapons of mass destruction, the motivation and missions became we as a country, must liberate all countries that seek democracy. Well, we didn't invade Iran did we, or about 40 other countries on that premise. Rationale changes, but initial agendas stay intact. It was never about Cincinnati State in my opinion, it was Main Street desiring to control the "landscape."

When are we going to invade America and restore democracy? The Constitution has been trampled in the same manner as our city charter. This council plays fast and loose with the truth because the citizens get a pack of lies covered in platitudes. If this is "Moving Forward", the citizens of Middletown need to put the brakes on this out-of-control vehicle!!!
