	Oops, band-aid time out, so I will offer a summary. All candidates in union: Area of importance- 1) Public Safety 2) Infrastructure 3) Economic Development. Taxes- No one wants them raised. Mr. Mulligan says he has spent four years on council, as did council, focusing for four years on job creation? And more jobs came in to Middletown or went out? They left a negative balance, so that effort was a failure. ASJ- "says we don't get it, that council doesn't set guidelines, they just approve or disapprove what city leadership wants. Correct, but wrong answer, don't see her on council at large anymore, maybe a job at Cincinnati State. A once a year 1/2 day retreat hardly the basis for constructive vision discussion Ms. Jones. Closest council new member to Dave Schiavone? I introduce Dan Picard, talk about kicking the public safety issue can down the street a year. Pandering to firemen and police. And I thought what a relief Mr. Schiavone was gone, but he's back. Sorry Mr. Picard, can't vote for you for bolting your ward and taking the easy way out to get the union vote, don't see you making it at large this year either. Final thought. All talk about infrastructure. Not one, yet again, brings forth the fact for 20 years, council has not put back in place, the city ordinance on asphalt dedication. I guess no candidate gets streets require asphalt (good point by Mr. Presta, better to have it on th street than a bike path), but it won't happen until it is mandated, and it hasn't been since 1986. Economic development and its importance, ranked no. 3? Who's doing the job? The ex interim recruiter for Ms. Gilleland, "he's back", or the continuation of Greg Pratt, attorney at law? Ms. Jones was right, council doesn't set policy, and the lack of urgency and speed will again come back to bite. Time to get back to painting.
