Rumors, rumorsBy Ed Richter | Tuesday, October 6, 2009, 05:00 AM Rumors swept around Middletown that the city’s economic development director was leaving. However, City Manager Judy Gilleland said Monday, Oct. 5 that Mike Robinette, the city’s economic development director, was still on the job at city hall. Hasn’t really done any more than Murphy did to bring jobs into the city. Need someone who is pro-active.By nlmadog October 6, 2009 7:52 AM | Link to this Seems Middletown just hired the Econ Director, the feeling I had from the hiring process was Robinette was it ,forget about !!! I agree. Good one. Can the City truly & legally get rid of this cemetary? OR let it go to ruins? Are citizens still being buried there? OR are they all going to Woodside, etc.? It would cost lots of $$$$$ to move to another location. From my understanding they have a legal obligation to care for THIS cemetary. Grants or no grants, help groups or no help groups. Woodside is privately owned, correct? |
