Judging from the increasing number of citizen comments/complaints made at recent city council meetings, it might be wise for Doug Adkins, Larry Mulligan, etc. to begin taking notice. Older neighborhoods clergy, other leaders and home owners are expressing valid concerns about the city's housing/community development needs and city actions (the demolition blitzkrieg), the opioid crisis and impact of crime in their neighborhoods, the perceived aloof nature of One Donham Abbey, etc.
It will be interesting to see how/if the above citizen's concerns unfold in 2018. It's likely that Doug Adkins will silence the wrecking ball and curtail his penchant for leveling former Ward 2 homes. He and Kyle Fooks have had nearly $14 Million at their disposal over the past 8.5 years and there's not much to show for it except scattered empty lots. There's also a number of stalled "downtown" re-development deals to add to the mix.

What is the real story about Amy Vitori. Rumor has it she didn't pay loan #1, got a second and third loan now. There has to be something illegal about the city to continue to give her money to set up her businesses. She is back in her hometown and living fine.
