equals 16 permanemt jobs. Additionally passenger rail systems in this country have always been subsidized. They are not self-sustaining. millions and millions of taxpayer dollars will be necessary each and every year to pay the salaries of those so employed and to maintain equipment and services. Of course, the government could say that it is now against the law to drive automobiles just like they have forced Americans into purchasing health insurance. The precedent has been set! |
