A meeting will be held for families with children attending Amanda, Highview or Rosa Parks Elementary Thursday January 15 at 6:00 PM at the Middletown Senior Center located at 3907 Central Ave in Middletown. The meeting will explain the parent’s options and details of the Ohio Ed Choice Schlorship voucher program. The event is hosted by the Children's Scholarship Fund of Greater Cincinnati (CSF Cincinnati), a “a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunity through choice to low-income families in the Greater Cincinnati area.” *
“CSF Cincinnati provides scholarships averaging $1,300 per student to give parents a choice in their child’s education in grades K-8. A chance to choose a quality education and the presence of parental involvement are two of the most important factors in determining a child’s chance for a successful academic experience. The tuition assistance CSF Cincinnati provides is an attempt to empower all parents with a choice in their child’s education. With school choice, parents get involved.” *
