Officer Of The Month
On February 27th the Chief recognized Officer King as the new Officer Of The Month for his work in thearrest of James Stepp and William Lallemand when they committed a Breaking and Entering at Dollar Generalon Feb. 19th. After the B&E Officers King and Ballinger made a traffic stop in which James Stepp was drivingan unreported stolen vehicle. Officer King recognized the name James Stepp as a name mentioned earlier and linked James to the B&E.
This investigation was a group effort involving the excellent work of many Officersworking midnights that evening. Officers Tipton, Jordan, Hovell, Ballinger, Bender, and Deaton all played essentialroles in the arrest of these culprits; however, Officer King was singled out for breaking the case.
TheChief also recognized and thanked the other Officers involved in this investigation.
