Middletown Declares Potholes an Emergency

There was a new ordinance adopted in Middletown.

An ordinance that establishes a procedure to contract with various qualified asphalt contractors to supplement the Middletown Pothole Epidemic of 2008.

Council declared the Pothole Help Ordinance O2008-35 an emergency so they could get help to the community right away.

Very nice to see this being put on the fast track. My car has been to the shop twice already this year for problems related to the wheels, and bearings, and ABS sensors, etc. The car is getting older but is well kept, 115,000 miles, not saying it’s all a pothole problem but who knows if better roads could not have saved me, and a lot of us, a lot of car problems.
