MIDDLETOWN, OHIO----- Members of the Middletown Convention and Visitors Bureau elected officers to serve during the 2012 year. Re-elected for a third term was Linda Moorman, president, BeauVerre Riordan Studio. Joining her will be Doug Blazer, vice president, community volunteer; Frances Sack, secretary/publicity, Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices; and Dana Picard, treasurer, Nenni and Co. CPA.
New MCVB Board Members are: Gracie Gregory, Middletown School System; Fred Gibson, former newspaper editor and Community Volunteer; and Jeff Milbauer, The Milbauer Law Firm and former Juvenile Court Magistrate. Middletown City Councilman, Joe Mulligan will serve as the CVB’s liaison to City Council.
They will be joining other MCVB members: Melinda Armbruster, Armbruster Florist; Dick Boyea, Reyton Inn; Kent Bradshaw, Miami University Middletown Asst. Professor; Rob Hoffman, Mar-flex Water Proofing & Building Products; Maria Langendorf, Middletown Public Library; Marie Edwards, Middletown City Board liaison and Mark Hecquet, Executive Director, Butler County Visitors Bureau.
Outgoing Board Member Gary Lebo was thanked for his service.
Meetings dates for 2012 have been set and are as follows: March 15 at Reyton Inn at Rt. 122 & I-75; May 17 – Grant meeting; July 19; September 20; November 15. Unless otherwise noted all meetings will be held at BeauVerre RiodianStudios on Central Avenue starting at 5:30 pm and are open to public.
