On Monday, August 6, the Middletown Area Republican Club (MARC) celebrates the grand opening of its campaign office at 3520 Roosevelt Boulevard in Middletown. Elected officials including State Representatives Pete Beck, Margy Conditt, and Tim Derickson will be on hand for the grand opening reception. The MARC office will coordinate with three other GOP offices in the county: the Butler County GOP office in Bridgewater Falls, Friends of John Boehner, and the Romney for President Victory Center on Route 4. Volunteers in the Middletown office will assist with the party’s get-out-the-vote effort, and the office will serve as a local distribution center for campaign materials.
“The Middletown area, and Butler and Warren counties, will be critical areas for Gov. Mitt Romney and other Republican candidates on the ballot this November. MARC opened this office to capitalize on fact that area Republicans are energized for this election. With a coordinated campaign effort, we can get the leadership we need in Washington and Columbus,” said MARC President Mike Scorti.
Butler County Treasurer and MARC Vice President, Nancy Nix added, “This local office adds to the GOP efforts already in place on the national and state level. Our volunteers will help communicate the Republican plan for economic growth, limited government, and a strong national defense. With a strong voter turnout, we can take the White House, pick up a U.S. Senate seat, and maintain majorities in the state legislature and the Ohio Supreme Court.”
Hours of operation through August will be during the late afternoons. Beginning September 4, the office will be staffed Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers can sign up to work by sending an email to Nancy Nix at NancyNixCPA@gmail.com or by calling (513) 360-4426.
