Middies senior Jalin Marshall was one of 90 high school students chosen to participate in the 2013 Under Armour All-America Game in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Marshall usually plays as a wildcat QB for the Middies. For the Under Armour Game, he was listed, practiced and played as wide receiver. He will likely transition to defense or the wide receiver position as he moves up to the collegiate level.
Jalin, who is an Ohio State commit, had his biggest play when he hauled in a 44-yard pass from quarterback Brice Ramsey. It was his second catch of the series. He also made a big impact on a special team’s play, where he stopped the punt returner with an immediate tackle.
Marshall is ranked 78th overall in ESPN’s top 150 recruiting rankings for 2013. Rivals.com has him ranked number 1 in the state for the 2013 class. He has a scout grade of 84. He is 5-11, 196 lbs. and runs the 40 in 4.66.
