The 543 Campaign is a community group dedicated to helping to raise money toward funding activities including sports, clubs, music and drama programs for the coming school year. Their plans for raising the funds needed involve a combination of selling discount cards to local restaurants, a car wash, and selling 1 square foot plots of Barnitz Stadium.
The real cure for extracurriculars lies in passing the August 7th levy, though, according to 543 representative and former school board member Dr. Mark Frazer. See a video of Dr. Frazer discussing extracurricular funding here.
