With the failure of the August levy the student transportation has been limited to the state-required minimum, being, all school-offered transportation for high school middle, middle school and elementary school students is eliminated for students who live within 2 miles of their school.
The city and school district are working together to explore the option of providing easier access to city-run public transit services. Similar systems have already been used in Cincinnati and Dayton.
