Miami University Middletown - in partnership with the Confucius Institute of Miami University, Hanban (a division of the Chinese government), and Miami Global Initiatives - will host a Chinese Moon Festival from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19 in the Miriam G. Knoll Campus and Community Center (Johnston Hall 142). The Chinese Moon festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival, is one of the most important traditional events for the Chinese.

Miami will celebrate the festival with free food, including traditional moon cakes; music; artistic and cultural demonstrations; and displays about this and other Chinese traditions. For more information, email Ginger Wickline at wicklivb@miamioh.edu.
