Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro - Soon Opening in Middletown
Thursday, September 6, 2007 9:54:09 AM - Middletown Ohio

Bullwinkles Middletown
by Kyle Thompson

Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro opened in Miamisburg in 1986, and has since blossomed into a local favorite for everything from hamburgers to seafood, but specializing in BBQ ribs featuring their locally popular Q Sauce™.

The newest news from Bullwinkle comes in the form of an expansion. Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro will be opening their second location in Middletown's rapidly developing east end, near the new Atrium Medical Center. Bullwinkle's will be taking the place of El Rancho Grande at the exchange at Interstate 75 and Ohio 122.

Bullwinkle's will featuring indoor and outdoor dining, offering booths for a private dining experience and also catering to groups. Additionally, Bullwinkle's will feature 11 beers on tap and about 25 bottled varieties. For more information on Bullwinkle's visit their website at www.bullwinklestophatbistro.com.

Good news, but I wish it were opening in downtown. More character than the east end. Just look at the Miamisburg location. Personally, I think the location they have selected is horrible--in that old, run down hotel.

I'm not sure I like the location much either, but they are making improvements. They're pouring an outdoor patio that seats 70, for instance.

I think they wanted a place they could fix up to suit their preferences.

swohio, why on earth would you want it to be downtown?? So no one will go there and it'll shut down? Great plan. The only way ANY new business is going to do well is if it located on the east end where what's left of the town is located.

Bullwinkle’s in quaint, well kept, downtown Miamisburg, is 75% atmosphere. A Bullwinkle's on the east end of Middletown, off a road with crazy access, behind a tire discounters, sitting a stone’s throw from I75, and attached to the old Howard Johnsons, I mean the old Garden Inn, I mean the old Hawthorn Inn, I mean the Best Western, is not even in the same ball park.

I'm so excited about Bullwinkle's opening in Middletown!! Just what Middletown needs, a decent place to dine.

Bullwinkle's has a sign up that they are now hiring. Shouldn't be too much longer!

I think they chose a pretty good location. They can expect a lot of buisness of the new hospital and its easy access to I75. Plus Middletown needed another hotel with a bar because the Ramada is a joke. This place is going to be a hotspot.

I have recently stayed at The Best Western and its very nice so I don't know why anyone would say anything bad about it. I can guarantee you that they haven't been there lately. I, for one can't wait to eat at Bullwinkles. They will be opening Dec 4th which is this coming Monday. See ya'll there.

Looking forward to eating there. Always liked going to the Miamisburg location. I think the location is good. It wouldn't lasted long downtown.

My friends and I go on Tuesdays for the trivia which we all enjoy. Trivia master Chuck is an awsome host. With a better ambiance and more high quality food this place would be great
