Background Check Company and Skydiving Operation Provide Relief To Haiti

At 10:30am January 26, 2010 a crew from StartSkydiving.com based at the Middletown Regional Airport, Middletown, Ohio departed for Haiti in their 208B Caravan Super Cargo Master on a special operation.  Selection.com a leading pre-employment screening firm headquartered in Springdale, Ohio and StartSkydiving.com the largest skydiving center this side of the Mississippi joined forces for Operation X-ray.

Since the earthquake hit Haiti they have been without any operational X-ray equipment, doctors have been unable to treat all of the broken bones and set them without this equipment.  Employees of Selection.com wanted to help the people of Haiti in a way that would make a profound difference says James Boeddeker, CEO of Selection.com, we felt providing this equipment and personally delivering it would make that difference.  We have always placed our community first in everything we do and our community does not stop at our borders said Boeddeker.

Selection.com is the official sponsor of Team Fastrax, a professional skydiving team located at StartSkydiving.com  based at the Middletown Regional Airport.  Boeddeker asked  John Hart Owner of StartSkydiving.com for assistance.  Hart said, Our aircraft are sitting in the hanger and our pilots are anxious to fly.  I asked our flight crew if they would be willing to volunteer their time for the 24 hour flight and received a resounding yes.

The aircraft left carrying 800 pounds of medical supplies for manufacturing casts, bandages and lots of bottled water.  The next stop on the way was Knoxville, TN where the crew loaded the portable X-ray machines.  Says Hart, we expect the aircraft to arrive in Haiti Wednesday afternoon and the equipment to be operational and in full use no later than Thursday.  I can’t think of a better way to show our support for those in need most.  This equipment and medical supplies will make the lives of others better

Seems like it has been a good move to get these guys to the airport. I heard that they have already jumped at the Community Center and plan to jump at many city events this year. Bringing their business and money to Middletown is a wonderful thing.
