92nd Charity Ball Auction
Thursday, April 5, 2012 12:44:49 PM - Middletown Ohio

From Frances Sack

MIDDLETOWN, OHIO----- Jackie Sullivan will chair the Middletown Area Federation of Women’s Club's Quarter Auction fundraiser for the 92nd Charity Ball. This will be her second year overseeing this pre-event fundraiser for the ball.

This ever popular Charity Quarter Auction will be held on April 19th, 2012 at the First Christian Church at 4520 Rosedale Road. Doors will open at 5:30 pm to preview auction items with the auction scheduled to begin at 6 pm and last until 8:30 pm. Initial cost will be a $1.00 per paddle plus quarters for bidding. This is open to the public.

Proceeds raised from this event will go toward the MAFWC Women’s Services Endowment Fund at the Atrium Medical Center. This endowment was established in 2010 at the 90th Charity Ball to provide funds for women’s health services that include women’s health screenings, tests and initiatives in the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Women’s Center. These funds will go toward assisting the uninsured or underinsured women who live in the Middletown area and meet the qualifications.

The Quarter Auction event features products from the following companies: Celebrating Homes, Just Jewelry, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Longaberger, gold Canyon Candles, Thirty-One Purses, Theme Baskets, gift cards and much more. Also, many items have been donated for auction. It will also include concessions, door prizes, charity raffle ticket and split-the-pot. Bidding paddles are $1.00 each. Don’t forget your quarters! For more information call Jackie Sullivan- 513 423 8980 or Vinny Ciarrcacchi - 513 423 7978.
