Mouth-watering cuisine, sumptuous atmosphere, notes from the soul ~ a feast for the senses. Otterbein Lebanon Senior Lifestyle Community has teamed with Vito Ciepiel, Harry Stephens, and the Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition on Tuesday, May 14 at Vito’s Café in Fort Thomas, Kentucky to raise funds for the purchase of Clavinovas (digital pianos) to benefit Otterbein Lebanon health care and independent residents. Research has shown that Clavinovas provide beneficial therapeutic results to persons suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s in particular.

This select evening is available to only 100 people who reserve their seats in an intimate audience as renowned musicians serenade, and five unique courses are prepared for the palate by locally acclaimed chefs.

The evening's chefs include Dana Adkins - Bella Luna, Leslie Richmond - Vito’s Cafe, Joseph Rowe - Bella Luna, and Evan Koller - Cincinnati Hilton (Cincinnati Airport). Featured musical performers are Nat Chaitkin – cellist, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra; Christina Nam – 9-year-old violinist who recently performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; Austin Wade – Cincinnati high school junior who performed by invitation at Carnegie Hall at age 11 and renowned student of Suzuki Piano for 13 years; Diane Schneider JD, Ph.D – harpist and vibration medicine therapist; and Vince Schmithorst, Ph.D - neuroscientist and concert pianist.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. for an hour of hors d'oeuvres, drinks and a silent auction. From 7:30 to 9 p.m. dinner and performances will be enjoyed, and from 9 to 10 p.m. guests can experience the Clavinova Connection, an innovative, enjoyable music program. Designed by Barry Bittman, MD, it includes a unique series of music and wellness exercises that harmonize mind, body and spirit. The program does not require prior musical experience, so everyone can participate regardless of musical skill.

This exceptional evening includes dinner, performances and the opportunity to play the clavinova for $100 per guest. One hundred percent of the proceeds goes to the purchase of the Clavinovas for Otterbein residents.

Please RSVP by Friday, May 7 to Stacy Black at 513-696-8566 or sblack@otterbein.org. Vito's Café, home of the Singing Servers, is an Italian-style neighborhood trattoria nestled in the picturesque hills of northern Kentucky. Vito's Cafe received four stars from Cincinnati Enquirer food critic Polly Campbell. It is located at 654 Highland Ave., Suite 29, Ft. Thomas, KY.

Make checks payable to: Global Music & Wellness and mail to Stacy Black, Otterbein Lebanon Senior Lifestyle Community, 585 N. State Route 741, Lebanon, OH 45036.
