45th Annual Greek Fest - 2012 Middletown, OH

GreekFest 2012 - Middletown, OHSts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church’s Greek Fest embarks on its 45th year of celebrating the rich culture of Greece.  Greek Fest will be held Friday-Sunday, July 27-29, 2012 at 2500 Grand Avenue in Middletown with a special preview ‘Gyros on the Go’ to be held Thursday, July 26.

‘Gyros on the Go’ will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, July 26. Gyros and assorted pastry boxes will be available for purchase.

Greek Fest hours are: Friday, July 27 5pm-11pm; Saturday, July 28 4pm-11pm and Sunday, July 29 Noon-5pm.

Patrons can enjoy Greek specialties al fresco at the popular Food Court or inside the Church Hall where a special meal from the Grecian Dinner menu can be savored. The Pastry House is well-stocked with hand-made Greek specialities. Pastry orders can be made ahead of time at the Festival website http://www.stsconstantineandhelengreekchurch.org.

Live Greek music will be provided throughout the weekend by George Karras and Themi Kakias, who will be accompanied by various dance troupes performing traditional Greek dances.

There will also be vendors selling authentic Greek jewelry, icon painting demonstrations, church tours and much more.

Raffle drawings will be held Friday and Saturday at 9 pm and Sunday at 5pm.
