   This is Middletown on a much bigger scale.  Just think Steal and Paper Mills, instead of cars.  City leaders should also watch and not act as Detroits leadership has failed to act.

	The only excuse for Detroit being in that shape is GREED. The companies during the boom years got greedy...the union employees got greedy....then they moved everything out of the country and what you see is what is left. And it's a different age. It's all part of evolution. Boom today bust tomorrow. The same can be applied to Middletown. Everything is gone except the mill, but support from the mill is gone so all we have is a few jobs. Middletown is destined to become a ghost town and it's almost there. Why do you think city leaders are moving everything to the east ? Today society is one of service, not industrial. Industry is in China, Mexico, India, Taiwan, Japan, and any other place they can find cheap labor. The glory days are over and have been for some time. The carcass is down to the bone and the buzzards have a full stomach.
