Chamber Expo Event At MUM

   Just read the Journal article on the Chamber Expo at MUM. Sounded like it was a nice event for the community. 800 people attended. Sounds like Dillman's chicken was in demand. 

Observation: Was this event adequately publicized in the Journal? Don't remember reading much about it.

The hours of noon to 4PM were not the most ideal for us folks who work during the day....especially those who work out of town. Would have been nice to have had this on a Saturday or to have extended the hours to 7PM to catch us dayshifters who get back into town after 4:30PM. Might have attracted more with the inclusion of the day shift workers. 

Sounds like they had a great selection and best of all....it was free. 

Perhaps the organizers will give more thought to the hours of operation to increase participation next time. There is a sizable crowd that live in Middletown but work out of town and can't attend these "lunch hour" events.

	I never saw a Journal article on it, but did see the ad they ran on the online version of the Journal for several days. I would have liked to attend this Expo, owning a small business I have been in a few, and have gone to many in other Cities I have lived. I have never seen one held in the Middle of the day though. I have always attended ones that ran in the evening, when most people are out of work. Sounds like they had a good turn out though.

	I stopped by the Expo after I left the office, there was indeed a nice turn out given the time of day. I meet a lot of business owners. I do agree that might have attracted more had it been held on a Saturday or had the hours run a little into the evening. Here are some of the pictures I grabbed while there.
