AJ Smith is at it again. Shilling for his firemen's job. He can't get his checkbook out for a beer. OUTCOME- He gets Mike Robinette ED, to pick up his tab while he bolts.
AJ Smith can't pay his Duke Energy bill timely. Then, he splices his box so he gets power on while Duke truns it off, pulling a gun on the Duke turn-off guy. Next, we have AJ Smith unwilling to file a tax return. Then he fails to file a treasurer report to the State associated with his campaign funds. Yet, in every situation, its someone else's fault. John Harvey wants us to think its too much of a distraction for voters to cast a Yay or Nay vote in November while voting for POTUS. I imagine he thinks most Middletownians can't walk and chew gum at the same time. So...he and AJ propose getting the ballots out in August to make it more convenient for all, While all know this is a voter suppression tactic, to keep the vote count low, so they can keep their perks, why are both of these individuals so bent and determined to think---- YOU ARE TOO DUMB TO RECOGNIZE THIS TACTIC? Why is it AJ Smith delays and procrastinates on every dealing and responsibility he has, but wants the voters to have the accelerated in August? He doesn't do anything until after its too late but for voting, to assure suppression and low turn-out, let's get this done 3 months early.. I can tolerate alot in life, but one thing I don't like is a fool who thinks a trick like this, is to go un-noticed by the majority. If city council approves this, they demonstrate they are as foolish as AJ Smith and Harvey. Dumb...meet Dumber. These hypocrites will be using voter suppression in August but decry it in November, in the typical roar over conservatives using it to win over Obama. . |

Acclaro, An interesting perspective, as usual. It brings up an equally interesting question: Given his meager experience and the
continuing financial-type woes that seem to beset Mr. Smith, can we trust the
collective wisdom of a City Council that has decided that he was the best
choice to be on the three-person Finance Sub-committee??? |

Mike, they wanted a pit bull that would do the dirty work to win the .25% tax again. Smith is the pit bull that will utilize any tactic he deems appropriate to win a position on the fire fighting, uhhh, ambulance run force. Council was more than happy to have him do the dirty work on setting this up in August to suppress the voter turnout, ergo, vacations, golf, special election---low numbers of voters of course.

AJ go 1100 votes when he was elected. It would be interested to see how many signatures it takes to put him on a ballot for a recall. Is there no way to remove a BOZO such a AJ from the City Council other than a recall?? |
