I agree
Still--most of this has been true for the last 20+ years
So--why does everyone keep passing us by and choose somewhere else just down the road?

Not trying to be negative---just a ? that I keep asking myself

I guess we could blame the lady in the cow suit(my customer!)

spiderjohn its because of the marketing effort.

Westchester has done a great job contacting businesses, in some cases actually convincing a business to locate there. They use JEDDs, abatements and point out other newly located businesses are locating there.

We need to talk up the city

... like what a wonderful effort the city has made with downtown.
... And the opportunities to locate your small business there.

Also if we could talk about the Atrium Medical Center and the many benefits for the medical industry to move here.

Downtown and the east end should be marketed on the web.

All people know about us is what is in the paper and on the web. More relocation research is being done on the web year after year. Posting the good stuff about Middletown, will help dilute the negatve info out there on us.
