Mike Robinette has accepted the offer for the Economic Development Director position. This item will be on the Council agenda for confirmation on Jan. 20. I know that he will make a positive and dynamic impact on the community. He has a great deal of experience and enthusiasm!

I just dropped a note off to Mr. Robinnette. Perhaps he will provide us with some of his initial thoughts on Economic Development in Middletown.

What economic development? I only know of the Towne Mall Area.

I have heard that Middletown has a bright future downtown, that things are "starting to get started" and you just need to perservere.
 
Please look for things about Middletown to celebrate, and the few minor problems we have, if any, will certainly either disappear or solve themselves.
