School Board Vice President Mark McClure and outspoken board member, Katie McNeil, both have yet to pull their petitions for school board.

Will this pave the way for Rev. Tyus to get a seat?

I hope McClure runs again, he's got my vote.

Having met the Reverend at my own high school graduation, I remember he had a very genuine, sincere personality. I think it would  be great to have him back on the school board.

I don't think Dr.McClure will run again. He is a good man, though he provided little help in resolving this difficult situation. His children are out of the system now anyway.

Mrs.McNeil seems to be the lone voice of sanity in this dilemma. I will hate to see her go, but at least she is breaking out somewhat, acknowledging the up-coming problems.

Looks like Rev.Tyus might be the only one running for three vacant seats.
Why would anyone want to be a lone voice for change, dealing with a somewhat inflexible administration. This situation seems SO backwards!

One person making their voice heard is better than noone at all, and the Reverend Tyus has always been one to make make his voice heard. Hopefully others will come forth soon to lend their voices to the effort.
