Music Hour, featuring Appalachian folk music by Ed and Debbie Simpkins
Tuesday, September 23

Drawing on traditional music of Appalachian culture, the Simpkins perform original songs using guitar, banjo, harmonica, autoharp, dulcimer, and voice. They have been performing for nearly 30 years at venues across the country, and have recorded many albums together. In April 1995, they performed for the Traditional Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry- Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. They have been listed in several Appalachian and folk music projects with the Ohio Arts Council and The All Music Guide.
