San Francisco’s Moscone Center will host some of the country’s largest IT shows this year. With more than two million square feet of building area, including over 992,000 square of exhibit space, up to 106 meeting rooms, and nearly 123,000 square feet of pre-function lobbies it’s not too surprising.  Below is a summary of the top 5 tech shows the Moscone Center will be hosting in the coming months.

InterSolar North America Conference
07/09/13 – 07/11/13
Intersolar North America focuses on photovoltaics and solar thermal technologies. Exhibitors include PV cell, module and inverter manufacturers, components and mounting systems suppliers, manufacturing system suppliers, service companies as well as manufacturers of solar thermal applications including heating and cooling, among others.
Intersolar North America’s 2012 conference featured 17,823 visitors from 76 countries, and expects to surpass that number in 2013.

VM World 2013

For 10 years VMworld has been the source for the knowledge and connections you need to leverage virtualization and cloud computing technologies in your business. They accomplish this by hosting cutting-edge hands-on labs, high-impact breakout sessions, and opportunities to network with the people shaping the future of IT.
VM World will have an estimated 20,000 attendees for their 2013 trade show.

Oracle OpenWorld
9/22/13 – 9/26/13
Oracle OpenWorld is an event for IT management and decision makers to network and gain information on the leading technology of Oracle. They feature thousands of sessions from which attendees can choose, including keynotes, technical sessions, demos, and hands-on labs. Hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand to share what they’re bringing to the leading edge of Oracle technology.
Oracle OpenWorld 2012 had over 1 million people attend Online. This year is expected to have a similar turnout online, and has an expected 35,000 attendees.

Global Mobile Internet Conference

Macworld Expo 2014

Macworld/iWorld expo features exhibitors and developers showing the latest hardware, software and apps for Apple products. They will have over 60 tech talks, live music performances, film festivals, art showcases, hundreds of exhibitors and developers showcasing the latest products and apps for Macs, iPhones, and iPads in an interactive, dynamic, experiential showcase of iOS and OS X products and technologies.
Macworld/iWorld expects to have between 30,000 and 35,000 attendees for their 2014 expo
