SNOW CLOSES LIGHT UP MIDDLETOWN 

Light Up Middletown will not open tonight, Wednesday, December 26 due to heavy snow. Flo Randall, chairwoman, said, ” We do not want to endanger anyone by opening the display and encourage everyone to wait a day or so to tour.” 

Light Up will reopen when the roads are clear and be open through New Year’s Eve 6-10 pm. 

Admission is by cash donation. Guests set their own price of admission by dropping a donation in the box at the entrance gate. 2012 marks the 14th year of operation. Donations are used to repair, replace and add to the displays and make improvements to Smith Park.
