Sandy Springs, GA: The City that Outsourced Everything

The good people of Sandy Springs remind me of our own Josh Laubach.

"Since 2005, four other Georgia cities have incorporated and implemented the Sandy Springs model."

Big differences between this town and ours, but I'm sure there are lessons that can be learned.  Of course that would require a council to buck the pressure that would be brought to bear by the union thugs, and no one in this rust belt state has the guts to do that.

Another big difference in this city and our city is their infrastructure is all fairly new.  They do not have 75 year old water and sewer pipes.   Try this here and we will probably go broke.  As usual you blame unions for everything.  blah blah blah

Name for me one outsourcing idea, which might result in loss of union jobs, where the unions and all their "brothers" won't march on city hall, fill the council chambers, pass out flyers warning of danger, and do everything but instigate violence.

Even better, a private company could maintain and update our infrastructure quicker, and more efficiently than any publicly managed project.

This is the future

You're absolutely right, not happening here anytime soon.

They wouldn't be marching for the better good of our community, but out of their own misguided self interest.
