Actually I mean "election", however I thought that this topic might create more attention.

Quite a while back, I was visited by Butch Hubble-candidate for Butler County Commission.
How many of you have ever been visited by Cindy Carpenter?
Has she ever been spotted in Middletown?

While a Democrat, Mr.Hubble had a very responsible mature, business-friendly attitude and a good promise to bring our city more prominently into the Butler County picture. He is retired from a military career, and seemed to emphasize small business growth and attempting to support their existence.

I really liked him, am voting for him, and urge everyone to do a little work to check out just where he stands on the local picture.

I don't really care for either Kasich or Strickland, Chabot or Dreihauss, and we must take down state Dems Cordray(Attorney General) and Boyce(Treasurer).

Opinions?

I'm with you spider on our choices this year,it's pretty sad. As you can see my vote, when appropriate, went to the Constitution Party candidates. While the CP candidates may not be any better or worse than the 2 main parties I'm sick to my stomach of the friggin democrats & republicans. The venom they spew is the exact same it just comes out of the mouth of a different species of snake.

The choice of Strickland or Kasich is like a choice of how you want to be executed. You want to die a slow painful death choose Strickland, if you prefer to die quickly choose Kasich.

The one that really makes me want to cut my toes off is John "I'm so tan" Boehner. Washington talk says they are already calling him "Mr. Speaker". Now if that doesn't make you up-chuck your dinner nothing will. Can you imagine that arrogant SOB being 3rd in line for president ? Now I'm really sick. Dead

No more democrats no more republicans, vote Constitution Party !!

While I have no personal experience with Carpenter I've heard she is a terror to work for and is borderline disturbed.  Obviously, people could have biases but I have heard these opinions from multiple people, some who did not work around her.

It is unfortunate that there are not more candidates "of the People."  However, given the nature and importance of the upcoming election, we cannot afford to leave those who believe that more spending and government control of individual lives is the answer to all our problems.  There are some candidates that I am enthusiastic about i.e. Josh Mandel, Terri King, Roger Reynolds.  If the progress toward bigger government and greater debt is not at least slowed with this election cycle, it will be too late.  I'm not being melodramatic here, but the course we are on is unsustainable.  Right now, we need to buy ourselves some time-  time enough for "We the People" to infiltrate and take over the existing political parties or time to mount an independent popular opposition to the two parties.  Allow the big government crowd to continue in control and the sands of freedom's hourglass will have run out.

Would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they'll never take our FREEDOM
