The following link is to a very interesting website that has a http://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/" target=_blank>world map that lists the average life expectancy  displayed by country.
 
I find it disturbing that both Cuba and North Korea have a slightly higher life expectancy than the US does.

 

The only theory I can come up with is that in those countries the lower quality health care is completely offset by the lack of access to fast food.
