I spend a lot of my time driving around town searching for a good Middletown businesses to feature on the main page of MiddletownUSA.com  I go into a lot of businesses and basically offer them free publicity and free advertisment. Surprisingly a few business are not interested in taking part (ie "Shapes" on Central Ave), yes I was surprised too. His reasons for not wanting to take part were funny to me, but I wont get into that. Sorry.

I like to focus on business downtown because in my opinion it is the area that needs our help the most. So I was driving downtown last week writing down phone numbers to business as I drove past and when I got home I began to call them. I was shocked to learn that over half the numbers I wrote down were disconnected. These businesses were open, but the numbers on their store fronts were not working. I just thought I would share that with you.

I want to ask for your help MiddletownUSA, if you or someone you know owns a business and you would like to see them featured here let me know. My email is rlewis@xponex.com  If you know of a business that you think needs to be featured let me know. These businesses do not have to be in the downtown area just in Middletown.

Randy,
Here's a thought:
Go out along Commerce Drive and Market Street!  From watching that Zoning hearing, I'd wager (if one was allowed to wager in Ohio) that you'll find PLENTY of businesses that might like to have a shot at a venue such as this!!!

(And I am NOT joking!!!)
