End: 8:15 PM

Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan –. This National Day of Remembrance was enacted by Congress in 2006 as a day to remember those loved who have been taken by murder.

Gather with other families and friends who understand the unspeakable loss of losing a loved one to murder. Honor the life of your loved one by adding their name to the Memory Scroll, by calling: Dave or Renee Simpson at 419-244-4445. Please be prepared to spell the victims name and provide date of birth and date of death. There is no charge to for this service.

Ms. Etta Caver of Middletown Ohio will be the keynote speaker. Ms. Caver is a homicide survivor, victim of domestic violence and has a Masters Degree in Social Work. She knows first hand the pain of loss.

The program will begin at 7:00 PM and will conclude with the candle lighting ceremony at 8:00 PM. This event is free and open to all who wish to honor the memory of their loved one.
