        The MJ reports that Library Director Doug Bean is retiring. Doug Bean has made our library the bright star of Middletown. His leadership and competency have been impeccable. We have been extremely fortunate to have him. He made our libary one of the best in the nation. Many of us of all ages have had access to all of the many fine and contemporary features that Doug brought to teh library for us.
      Best of luck and an enjoyable retirement Doug. We shall miss you. Thank you for your great service to us all.
