John Soppanish: Independent, Accountable, Honest

   Even though I am a registered Ward 3 voter, I wholeheartedly endorse John Soppanish as the next Ward 2 City Council member.  He is independent, accountable and honest.

Mr. Soppanish deserves the votes of the diverse Ward 2 voters because of his record of leadership with the following:  St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 2nd Ward Community Council, Douglass Park and Damon Park Place Matters, etc.

He is the only candidate to seek answers to the bureaucrats plans to demolish many Ward 2 homes as well as their housing code enforcement blitzkrieg involving 2,300 property owners.  I've yet to see anything along these lines coming from Ms. Ford or A.J. Smith.

The citizens of Middletown (and Ward 2 in particular), need someone like John Soppanish who WILL NOT be spoon fed by the all-knowing elitist bureaucrats at One Donham Plaza!

	I have known Mr.Soppanish for quite a while, and admire his character and dedication to the city and residents of Middletown. He is honest, hard-working and NOT apart of the Darth Vader MMF group that has held the citizens hostage(for the last 20+ years) with their incredibly poor decision making, puppet candidates and wasteful projects. Same can be said for Mr.Smilth and hopefully Ms.Ford. I stand 100% with the thinking of Ms.Scott Jones. She is the pure voice of the citizens on Council, and the MMF/petition group is lining up in full force against her. Please don't allow them to dirty her down like they have so many others who don't fit their agenda. New Council members means new planning commission members and new(different) faces on coimmittees. It also can mean putting Council(elected by the citizens) back in charge of city admin. SMITH-SOPPANISH-BARGE-LAUBAUGH-THOROUGHMAN-NAGY Give them a chance! It probably couldn't be worse than what we are going through now. VOTE NO on the elimination of ward representation! Just trust ole spider on this. He just took a slap down from the good ole boys who now run the MCF(since the retirement of Ms.Wright) just so he could be free to air HIS thinking and report on actual behind the scenes local acivity and manipulation.
