Story in the Journal concerning the council perhaps considering a 25 year hike on your property taxes. Seems all four fire stations need to be totally redone.

Do they ever think ahead and plan for these things rather than ram this down the people's throats all the time? It would appear the answer to all funding is to tax the hell out of the people. How about bringing in more industry and companies that have the money and could shoulder most of the cost for things like this.

The community is a poor one with middle to low income residents as a majority. Do you ever consider the people when making these decisions Mr. City Manager and council?
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.

Pffft.

How dare you suggest that this city's leadership are doing anything untoward to us the taxpayer.

Why - they've never wasted a dime of our money.  They're the best stewards of every penny....EVER!

I mean - they've never wasted our water/sewer dollars.

They've never spent millions taking a roof off of a building to expose useless land and buildings that no one visits except for drug addicts, homeless people and alcoholics.

*Edited 37 sentences here for brevity*

They've never....wait. Never mind.
