Go to the city of Middletown site. Go to the 10/20/15 workbook. Go to page 37 of 131 pages and read the dialogue on the Historical Meeting notes. Hilarious
It is fascinating how some people can pump themselves so full of sunshine and deem themselves so full of self-importance. Marty Kohler and this little committee have got all the answers as they address the "Certificates of Appropriateness" issues before them. Comical to read some of their "holier than thou" responses as to what people should have on their properties in the holy land that is S. Main St. Of course, Marty and company demand that they have the final verdict on some of the heinous crimes perpetrated by the renegade property owners. After all, they do have all the answers as to what is right. 'Ole Marty would be lost if he couldn't stick his nose in other people's business. According to the notes, 'ole Marty has personally driven over around 2700 McGee in the Highlands area and investigated the unsightly property while turning it over to the property inspector gestapo department. Entertaining reading if you are looking for a chuckle or two. It is so sad to see people like this, so enamored with themselves and longing to feel important without the ability to realize they are not. |

I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.
