The Middletown City Council met Saturday afternoon, but not in council chambers, not in Middletown, not even in Butler County.  The meeting lasted well over two hours.

Council, the city manager, the planning dept. et al, need to stand back and let the owner develop the mall. Quit trying to get in everyone's business people. Give the owner the guidelines and keep your nose out of it or you'll end up derailing anything the owners try to do. Too much big brother, regulatory nonsense by this city as to new business. The city doesn't have the credentials to dictate developmental issues, given their track record.
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.
