It's a good thing that there is no OSHA inspector lurking about.

A great selling point for these new loft apartments???

The garage doors (shown above just below the painters) are high enough for the bikers to haul their 1 to 3 thousand dollar bikes "wheels up" in and out on top of their luxury SUVs from the bike path (which is only about 3 blocks away)!!!  (This looks much "cooler" than riding the bikes, or strapping them on the back of the gas-guzzling SUVs...LOL!!!)

(Remember...the multi-million dollar bike path used federal money designated for "energy saving"...LOL!!!)

Oops...sorry, police officers and firefighters.  I didn't mean to remind you that Dan the man (who now claims that he questions EVERY expenditure in favor of cost savings for public safety) voted for every "bike path" issue that came down the pike!!!

Mr. Presta,
I think that you are correct.  Those federal energy-saving grants could have been used for energy efficient roof repairs or window replacements at the fire stations, or for more fuel efficient police cruisers, or even for similar repairs to other city-owned buildings.  Instead, those grants were wasted on the bike path and the fire station improvements and cruisers and similar city needs had to be paid for out of the general fund.

No wonder we cannot afford adequate public safety forces.

Thanks, Mr. Picard.

C'mon guys.....bicycle ridin', SUV with bike rack ownin', high priced finger food eatin', wine tastin', cheese eatin', artzy lovin', loft apartment livin', young executive typin' cultured folks is exactly the recipe for a successful downtown..... coupled with the surrounding area of Blue-collar lifestylin', factory workin', beer drinkin', NASCAR racin', bluejean wearin', Chevy/Ford drivin', Wal-Mart buyin', dollar menu orderin', Section 8 livin' folks who comprise most of this town. Kinda like mixing water with oil. The two shall never mix.

Yessir, the city leaders are on the right path in attracting the locals to participate in their dream of a cultured city.
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.

Vet you also forgot about the 24 hour hot roding, street races, and never ending police, fire, and EMS sirens ;)
