Josh Laubach will be having a Ward Meeting tonight

Last week I received a copy of the “Downtown Fund”

I'm having a real problem with this report because it simply does not match what is known about this project
12-11-2011 Downtown Improvement Fund shows....
Exp......................................$2,877,424.92
Rev.......................... ............$2,293,033.15
TOTAL DEFICIT.................$624,391.87

The City must now be using money from another fund (????) to cover part of the expenses of the Downtown Project. Also no legal fees for Gregg Pratt are listed.

Dunno.  It's not on the City of Middletown Community calendar.

Vivian, Vivian when will you realize you are being dupped by your buddy Duane.
Almost all of the income and expense in the Downtown Fund is for the land purchased on the East End for Al Neyer.

Vivian
Ask Duane where the money for Pratt is coming from and how much he has been paid.

I’m really sorry that you are so lazy and ill informed.
So why don’t you go get your own copy of the report and prove me wrong.

Mr. Pratt's $ come from the balance of M. Robinette's salery from last year.

And would that balance be about $70,000 considering how short Robinette's tenure was for the year? He is working back in the public sector in Dayton, and all were told he was exploring training opportunities in property dvelopment.

M29---where would the revenue come from against expense out on east end----is that leasing, taxes, payroll and propery?

attended this meeting, along with 6 others
serious thank you to Mr.Laubaugh for the opportunity, and to the folks at Beau Verre for graciously providing the venue

sos--same old song and dance
citizens have given up on dealing with city govt., as evidenced by well-intentioned Conversations and lack of Citizens' Comments

All about the former downtown area, while the rest of the community is left ignored

since Marianne pressed my musical quote, I will add another
The anthem of my Bohemian youth:

Dear Mr.Fantasy
Play us a tune
Something to make us all happy
Do anything
Take us out of this gloom
Sing a song(my town?)--play guitar
Make it snappy(sound like downtowners?)

You are the one who can make it alright
By doing so, you break out in tears
Please don't be sad
If it was a straight line you had
We wouldn't have known you all these years

Winwood is good... but I still love Hiatt. :) Why can't you get him to play in your living room? Here's a single from the latest (that I highly recommend):
"Damn This Town"

Shame that only 6 people were at the discussion; I don't think it was publicized very well. I heard about it when watching a City Council meeting, but we had other plans.
