So, four people "applied" for appointment as the new Ward 1 council member.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the FIRST question asked of each prospective councilman was:

I noticed that the one article did not include any comments from Mr. Barge. Was that an "oversight" on the Journal's part or was it done deliberately? Since the council is divided into two camps,(whether you want to admit it or not, council) with Becker, Mulligan and Picard on the Empire's "Dark Side" and Scott- Jones, Laubach and Smith on the rebels side, it will be interesting to see who this new person chooses to align with. I would bet that at least one is "sponsored" by the bad guys.

Hey Mike- someone over on the Journal site named Your Servant, is slamming all of us for not going along with the program here in the city. Apparently, we're all your "merry men" according to this and.....we're all just a bunch of "back seat drivers" because we don't participate and criticize too much. Ouch!!! You, mister, are a troublemaker!

Vet,
As you know, that dolt is ill-informed!! We have TRIED to participate after we were INVITED to be on various of council's sham committees. Of course then council and the admisistration did everything in their power to squeeze us out (including not telling us when or where the committees were meeting!!!)
Plus, he is ignoring the fact that some of us have run for various offices, and others have been involved supporting the campaigns of others.
It is also very interesting that he spends so much time knocking us if he feels we are so irrelevant!!
