   The Middletown Area Memorial Day Association will present the Annual 4th of July/ Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2009, at 10:00 AM from Verity Parkway and Fourteenth Ave.  The parade lineup will begin at 8:45 and all participants must enter the parade lineup at Lafayette Street.  The parade will travel north on Verity Parkway to Main Street and into Smith Park where the Awards Ceremony will take place.  If you plan on participating in the parade the theme this year is "Freedom by America's Volunteers", and any float that is to be judged for a trophy must reflect this theme.  As always parade rules forbid passing out of any candy or other items that may cause spectators to step into the street.  For more information or to sign up for the parade please email da120757@yahoo.com or call 513-424-8119
