Mayor Larry Mulligan made it
very clear, that despite reports, "Middletown is not dead or dying."
The Mayor went on to fire back at Forbes.com for naming Middletown one
of the ten fastest dying cities. "The state of the city is strong,"

Mulligan's "The state of the city is strong" message reminds me of Former President Bush's most recent (2008) annual "State of the Union" address to Congress. Always the state of the union "strong" untill reality made it very clear it was not. He often forget to mention a "War" that was not part of the budjet and the coming financial meltdown. All his promises of becoming inclusive with input from the "citizens" does not reflect any reality.

The message is we have to work together in these tough economic times. Cincinnati, Dayton, Middletown, the county and state.
